We have deleted all members who have never posted (except new members joining over the last three month.)
We don't like lurkers here.... join in or get lost!

erm,havn,t found anything lately,
got no questions,or answers to other peoples questions at the moment.
my personal life is personal.
other members problems with each other and other forums is interesting
and sometimes very funny,i view this and the other forums most days
but dont have much to say on those subjects.
my interests are metal detecting, metal detectors and the finds.
when i have something to contribute i will post,
But not to order!.
bugger I just did.
pj(lurker)dade.

There are always more people who like to look in than active posters.
Look on any forum and you will see the same.
Just cause there is a mole on here doesn't surely mean you have to start deleting members who like looking and not saying much.
And maybe it could just be that some find the atmosphere on here sometimes a bit intimidating?

thing is Sal, most of these members have joined several months ago, and theyve not been back since, so why bother join in the 1st place,
as to been intimidating, its not exactly for the faint hearted

I take Sals point and any of the deleted members are welcome to rejoin.... I would advice them to at the very least say hello and introduce themselves.

Well if they havent bothered coming back fair enough.
But that is not what is being said above Mick is it?
If you are saying you are going to delete all non posters then that is different isn't it?

Yes I think it is a good idea to try and introduce yourself.
If members on here then welcome them they might feel more like entering in.
Maybe if there were more posters on here willing to put posts on that arent allways about another forum, or their crusades against it, might get some more interest generated too.
